Children's feet
Gentle assessment and care for children's feet and legs, from before they walk to their teenage years.
Children aren't small adults. Their bones, joints and movement are still developing, and much of what looks odd in a child's walk is a normal part of growing up. Some of it isn't, and it helps to know which is which.
We see children of all ages, including babies who haven't started walking yet, for:
- In-toeing (walking with the feet turned in)
- Growing pains
- Heel pain, including Sever's disease
- Flat feet
- Clumsiness, tripping or poor coordination
- Ingrown toenails and warts
We take a gentle approach, and we explain what we find to you and your child. If something doesn't look quite right, it's worth having it checked: often for reassurance, and sometimes so treatment can start early.
