COVID-19 and Your Safety

What we are doing at Foot Ankle Lower Limb

We are living in unprecedented times with the current worldwide Coronavirus epidemic.

The safety of our patients and staff is our highest priority at Foot Ankle Lower limb. In addition to our normal infection-control procedures we have adopted the following procedures:

  • We screen everybody to make sure that they are safe to come to the practice before their appointment

  • We ask that you stay in your car until it is time for your appointment if possible; we will call or message you when it is time to come in. If you need to come into our waiting room we have widely spaced seating

  • Once you come inside, please observe strict social distancing, including not stepping right up to the reception counter or putting anything at all on the reception counter

  • You will need to use hand sanitiser on entry to the practice and again before you leave

  • We clean and disinfect surfaces in each consulting room after every patient and all other areas of the practice multiple times a day.

  • All staff now wear surgical scrubs, and practitioners use additional personal protective gear (e.g. masks, gloves) when they are with patients

  • We offer Telehealth (online consultations) where we can

We also have a blog post on the Coronavirus, as well as one on Telehealth.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions. You can call us on 9316 3010, email us, or use the chat box on this website.
